Travel, parking & unloading

There is limited unloading space at the Institute, and entry for Exhibitors is via the Institute of Education Service Road, accessed from Thornhaugh Street,  so please provide an estimated time of arrival on your requirement form.

Waiting in the service road while unloading on the Sunday is permitted but vehicles will not be able to park up for the duration of the conference.

Access for set-up

Access for set-up to all areas of the exhibition will be available from 13.00 – 17.30 on Sunday 11 March. It is essential that you set up on this day as the Conference registration, trade exhibition, tea/coffee & networking commence at 08.30 on the Monday morning.
Access on the Monday morning will be from 07:00.

There is a height restriction of 2.13m in some areas so please try to ensure your display banners & material do not exceed this height.

Pre-delivery

You may have any material for the Conference packs or exhibition equipment delivered to the Institute from Wednesday 7 March - Friday 9 March, between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00.

Please supply 350 copies of material for delegate bags.

  • Exhibition display material

The IoE must be informed in advance so that storage provision can be made. Ideally, traders should take as much of their equipment with them on the date of their get-in.

Stand Security after hours

There may be limited security. The exhibition will be held in areas with public access. Therefore, any items of value left on stands after hours or unattended are the responsibility of the exhibitor.

Technical requirements

Wi-fi

  • Wi-fi / Internet should be available on request. However, if it is essential for your display we strongly recommend that you have arrangements for alternative provision in the event of the Institute connections being unavailable. Log-in details will be provided at the Sunday get-in.

Power

  • Powerpoints/extensions will NOT be provided. You must provide your own extension leads.
  • However, please be aware that the Institute have the right to refuse the use of any equipment that they may consider unsafe.

Your form

Please complete and return the form for your stand requirements (table, powerpoints, etc) by 5pm on Wednesday 27 February.

  • NB – total floor area of display must not exceed your agreed square meterage.
  • Catering: Your stand price normally includes catering provision (lunch and tea/coffee breaks) for a maximum of 2 persons per stand per day.

Online registration

In order for us to issue badge(s), delegate packs and ensure that you are included in catering numbers, please ensure that you have registered each person attending online at mll2012.eventbrite.co.uk using the discount code Ex2012.

Accommodation

The conference team would like to remind you that staff attending the Trade Exhibition are responsible for making their own accommodation arrangements.
