Drake Music Education - access to assessment & accreditation for SEN/Disabled learners

From P-levels, to Performance assessments or exams, to Post-graduate degrees, DM Education aims to increase opportunities for disabled people to be formally assessed and accredited in music at every level.
Led by Doug Bott and Jonathan Westrup from Drake Music, this session will focus on:
- The newly published findings of DM Education's national consultation into 'disabling barriers to formal music education'.
- SEN/Disabled music education and the National Plan for Music Education
- Drake Music's accessible Introduction to Music course, accredited by OCNSWR at Entry 3, Level 1 & Level 2
The session will include a practical workshop using resources and ideas from the Introduction to Music course, which is now freely available from Drake Music.
