Bill Martin's personal vision is to exponentially increase musical choices for young people by creating a progressive, practical performing skills foundation for all.
His work focusses on:
- encouraging more people to become engaged in music-making
- helping to make this a life-enhancing and life-changing experience for teachers and learners
Bill is Music Education Manager at Yamaha Music Europe GmbH (UK) where he leads the Education Department. He began his musical career as a teacher, session musician and course writer. His current work focusses on a broad range of music education partnerships and initiatives across the genres, including Yamaha's own music school activities for age four to adults, alongside work with music hubs, conservatoires, exam boards, Music Services, schools, talented young musicians and Yamaha artists.
