Use of Apps and Mobile Technology in the Music Classroom

Mobile technology is moving so quickly and with new Apps being launched almost daily, it is very difficult to keep up with what is available.

Following on from the regular Apptitude Test column in Music Education UK magazine, Tim Hallas's session will look at some appropriate Apps for the music classroom and how to use them with students of different ages.

Apps are a very cheap way to incorporate technology in to the classroom – with most students possessing mobiles or an iPod, music learning can be sustained beyond the music classroom.
